What you need to know about SMILE

When you shop on board and in the BorderShop, show your card to the cashier so your purchase can be registered.

The QR code is only for activating the card. When you scan the code you will be automatically transferred to scandlines.com/SMILE.

How to get a SMILE card, if you already have a SMILE account

Get a SMILE card next time you sail with us, then activate your card at a SMILE terminal on board or in the BorderShop. You can also activate your card here on the website at "My page" once you have received it. 

Activating your card if you already have a SMILE account.

Log in, go to ”My Page” and enter your card number to activate your card. Your 19 figure card number is on the back of your card.

Activating your card with no SMILE account. 

If you do not have a SMILE account, click: Join and fill out the form. Enter your card number found on the back of your card.

Close by clicking on the red ”Join now” button at the bottom right of the page.

How to get a card

Click: Join and complete the form. Get a SMILE card next time you sail then activate your card at a SMILE terminal on board or in the BorderShop. You can also activate your card here on the website once you have received it.

Finish by clicking the red ”Join now” button at the bottom right of the page. 

Blocking your card and ordering a new 

If you have lost your card please contact our Customer Information Centre to block your card and order a new one.
